The Deism app and website (deism4me.com) are operated by S.D. Hagen. This privacy policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what is necessary to operate the service.

Information We Collect

Information you provide voluntarily

• Launch notification sign-up: If you sign up to be notified about future launches or updates, we collect your name and email address.
• Contact form: If you use the "Contact the Author" form, we collect your name, email address, message type, and message content.

Information collected automatically

• The website uses Google's Google tag (gtag.js) for Google Ads measurement. Google may collect information about visits and interactions, including pages viewed, browser or device information, approximate location, and advertising identifiers or cookies. This helps measure advertising performance and understand visits from Google Ads. The mobile app does not use this tag.

How We Use Your Information

• To send you the launch announcement you requested (if you signed up).
• To respond to messages submitted through the contact form.
• To measure the effectiveness of Google Ads campaigns and understand visits resulting from those campaigns.
• We do not sell your personal information. Google processes information collected by its tag under Google's own privacy policy and terms.

Data Storage

Information you submit is stored securely in a hosted database. Email notifications are delivered via Resend. We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected.

The Mobile App

The Deism mobile app does not require an account and does not collect any personal information. No data is transmitted from the app to our servers during normal use. The app does not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or any other device feature.

Your Rights

You may request that we delete your personal information at any time by contacting us at deism4me@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

This app and website are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the app or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
